Our Promise
At House of Ajie, every piece is selected and finished with care. If something isn’t right, we want to make it right. Please read the details below so your return is handled quickly and smoothly.

Return Window
You may request a return within 14 days of the date your order is delivered. Requests made after 14 days cannot be accepted.

Condition of Items
Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Pieces showing signs of wear, alteration, fragrance, deodorant, or makeup transfer will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.

Non-Returnable Items
The following are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged: sale and clearance items, custom or made-to-order pieces, jewelry and accessories, intimates and swimwear, and gift cards.

How to Start a Return
Email us at hello@thehouseofajie.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for your return. Our team will respond with return authorization and instructions. Returns sent without prior authorization cannot be processed or refunded.

Return Shipping
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Refunds
Once your return arrives, we inspect it within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, and your bank or card issuer may take a further 5–10 business days to post the credit. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Exchanges
Because our collections are produced in limited quantities, exchanges are subject to availability. The fastest way to secure a different size or colour is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. If the issue is confirmed, we will cover return shipping and send a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping.

Handcrafted Variations
Our African print and embellished pieces are finished by hand. Slight variations in print placement, beadwork, or tone are natural characteristics of the craft and are not considered defects.

Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided they have not yet entered processing. Once an order has shipped, our standard return process applies.
